Its so easy for us to sit together, but its so hard for out hearts to combine. And why? Because if its not love, then its the BOND that will bring us together.

After all, ‘love’ is just a miserable lie. I’m not saying you destroyed my flower-like life, we tried, & we failed.  A friendship sadly lost? Well this is true…& yet, its false. 
I wish you’d stay around to help me improve, because I’VE TRIED.
And, I know that I am the most inept that ever stepped, but what do you see in her? I remember those hum drum afternoons when we sat in your room, they meant more to me than any living thing on earth. They had more worth than any living thing on earth.

But when all is said and done, my faith in love is still devout. Vivid and in your prime, you will leave me behind.

I know that one day I will close my eyes forever & I will see you in far off places
